[Opinions] Proverb
What would you think if you met someone named Proverb?

They threw a dictionary up in the air and named their child the first word they saw.
That they were named a random word.
I would assume that his/her parents are extremely conservative Christians who look up to the Puritans. While this isn’t necessarily a bad thing (as I’m a Christian), the name Proverb is tacky. Doesn’t even matter the gender.
I would think his parents were Quakers. Or maybe Amish.
I don’t even know any fundamentals Christians that would name their kids Proverb, and I know a lot of them.
It’s odd. Some Bible names I really like, but not Proverb.

If I was feeling charitable, I'd assume that the parents had decided to use the first 'name' they saw when they opened their Bible.
If not, I'd run through a few actual proverbs in my head ... and when I got to 'manners maketh man' I'd shut up.

I would think it is different. I think it is better as a mn.
I'd assume their parents were fundamentalists.
I suppose it is not too different from Psalm, which I like, but the "verb" part is throwing me off. It doesn't sound like a name to me.
is that really there name?
