Alphaeus appears in my family tree almost 150 years ago. WDYT of it?

Is Alphaeus usable today with the nickname Alfie?

It looks quite pretentious to me, though better than Alpha at any rate. It could be nice with the nickname Alphie/Alphy though.

I think it's still usable today, definitely rare, but not too crazy. I actually kinda like it.
