[Opinions] Cynthia
What do you think of the name Cynthia? It's one of my favorite current names at the moment, though I am not that fond of the nickname Cindy. What middle names go with Cynthia? I like Cynthia Diane.

I love the name Cynthia. It's classic and elegant IMO. But almost every Cynthia I've known has gone by Cindy. The one who didn't struggled to get people to call her Cynthia instead of Cindy. Cynthia Diane ---- this will be the all the rage when all of the Baby Boomers have gone to the Great Beyond, rendering their names old enough to be retro and charming.

I think Cynthia is pretty. Anyone of my generation may associate it with Angelica's doll in the Rugrats but it's a flimsy association and k e that would pass when I met a Cynthia. I never have!I think a Cynthia born today would more than likely be a Thea, rather than Cindy. Cynthia Zoe

The full name is okay, but very 50s dated. Cindy is pretty awful and I'm not sure it's avoidable. Cynthia Diane is extremely baby boomer, 50s. The name needs a middle name that is not dated.Cynthia Isabelle
Cynthia Miriam
Cynthia Caroline
Cynthia Charlotte
Cynthia Rosalie
Cynthia Evelyn
