[Opinions] Aurick?
I just saw this birth announcement: Aurick AbramThis is the 7th child in the family - all beginning with A names. I wish I knew the other names to post. I couldn't find a meaning in the database. I hope it doesn't sound like Oreck - can you imagine the vacuum cleaner jokes?

Yep, it just sounds like the vacuum to me. It could be worse, but then again, they could have picked something... better. :-/It did remind me of Rurik, though, which I like a lot.

I think Auric is cool; I had a character by that name once. I came up with it by looking up synonyms of "golden" in the thesaurus. With a K, though, I think it looks dumb and clunky. I don't think he'd get vacuum cleaner jokes, though.Array

This sounded familiar as the name of a type of gazelle-like animal, but I couldn't find anything resembling that when I searched. I still think I could be right, but just can't remember the proper spelling for the animal. What I did find, however, was that:
1. An auric is an atom of gold.
2. There's an composer called Georges Auric.Possibly Aurick could be a family surname, which personally I'm hoping it is. Overall, the name is nmsaa.

Looks like Aurich to me. It's a city in Germany.. I think. It's where my school's German sister school is, but I never really paid attention :P--

Ha, how odd. Maybe it's a family name, somehow? It almost sounds like a surname. Almost.(OR-ick? AW-reck? Hmm)-- Sarah
