[Opinions] Eustacia & Bathsheba
Thoughts on these names? **Starfish and coffee, maple syrup and jam/Butterscotch clouds, a tangerine, and a side order of ham**

All I can think about are Eustachian tubes and giving your sheepdog a bath... lol

I almost named my cat Bathsheba, lol. Then she was just going to be Sheba... then she wound up Sheena instead. Anyway, I like it for a cat? I think the "Bath" part might be a bit much on a kid.I don't care for Eustace, so I don't really care for Eustacia either. Though I guess she could go by Staci?

Er ... Thomas Hardy? I hope neither is usable.

Bathsheba is interesting, but Eustacia just makes me think of the Eustachian tubes in the ears.

What do you get when the Queen of Sheba is getting ready for bed? Bathesheba! Okay, that was lame, but I don't care for this name. The Bibical figure was pretty tragic not to mention her poor husband. I would like to meet someone named Sheba.Eustacia is what I would have named Cinderella's red haired step sister. She didn't look like an Anastasia. Eustacia and Priscilla fit together better.

I don't care for Eustacia but I love Bathsheba (and Bathilde too!)

Both are clunky and dowdy and rather ugly. Plus, Bathsheba looks like “Take a bath, Sheba”.

LOVE both!Eustacia made my most recent top ten list, and Bathsheba has appeared on it in the past. I love the names' grounded grandeur.

I appreciate you. You always have love for the more interesting names that aren't run of the mill, lol.

Aw, thanks! :)

Bathsheba is too Biblical. It also reminds me of the Sheba cat food brand.Eustacia is cute in a nerdy way.

They wouldn't be easy names to live with.Bathesheba makes me think of Bathesheba Everdene. I think I would go be Beth or Bea if it was my name.Eustacia - again, a very heavy name. I guess there is Stacy?

I'm not a fan of either.

I LOVE Bathsheba as a GP. It's so slinky and glamorous and yet Puritanical simultaneously, which is cool.Eustacia makes me think of a mustache, so not a fan.

I like Bathsheba more than Eustacia. I've never heard either before. How would you pronounce Bathsheba?

The pronunciation is right there, if you click on the name.
