I see one post sums up the self I am and I wouldn't dilute it at all.. I am amazed at how much ones name can wrap up a character and sense of being and meaning.. I dislike with a passion being called Kim be it a name in it's self... I am Kimberley although warmed to Kimmy and was Kimble's growing up.. I really valued the discription of Kimberley before mentioned...we are a sensitive yet resilient breed we are soulful and blessed spirited people with our hearts out wide open..we are natural and I personally love that it means From the royal fortress meadow..as I'm at peace with nature.. it's a beautiful gift to be called Kimberley..thank you for the name that is me

Unfortunately, there is no such thing as name magic. You would be the very same person you are now, or maybe the person that you think you are now, if your name was Kathleen or Emma. I'm glad you like your name, but that's all there is to it.

I personally don't care for it, just isn't my cup of tea. However I really don't mind the diminutive of Kim.

Ooh, I like Kimberley. I had a friend in high school named Kimberly and we called her Kim. She was definitely blessed and resilient. Thank you. I think that describes her very well.
