What do you think about “Daydream” for a name? I know it's very unusual, but it's not that different from Dream, which is not unheard of. Personally, I think it's a pretty name with a sweet, feminine and romantic ring to it. I'd love to know what you think!

Like others have said, it sounds like a My Little Pony name. Dream is much better, but even that is still kind of ridiculous.
Terrible
Dayspring
I prefer dayspring Even though I don’t love it. Daydream is just too whimsical and it turns her into a fantasy. Dayspring is an old fashioned term for morning and it’s not nearly as fake sounding

It sounds like the name of a pink plastic pony. Sorry, it is just too much. Dream is too. It also seems kind of dirty to me because "wet dream" is such a popular expression. And unusable because of the Kardashians. Who would want their name associated with them?
Day on the other hand is okay, kind of sweet and humble. But I wouldn't use it.

I think it’d be sweet as a middle name, but even then it’s a bit too cutesy. I can imagine a CareBear named Daydream. It’d be cute for a kid but I can’t really imagine it on an older teen and definitely not an adult.
It's like a My Little Pony name, or like a kid who got conceived in a drug haze at Woodstock. Very insubstantial and silly.
Agree as well

I don't know if it's a UK thing, but older people use the nickname "Dolly Daydream" for someone who seem like they are out of focus and not quite present. It's not said in a flattering way.
I think it seems vacuous and silly. Dream (as a word, not a name) is more powerful. Dr. King would never say "I have a daydream!"
