Don't like it
Very chemical-sounding. Like apricot-flavored tobacco.
Ok, that sounds interesting.
Strongly associated in my mind with the Brandy discussion below. Apricotine is an apricot-flavoured liqueur brandy ...
It's a delicious fruit, fresh or dried, and makes excellent jam - the best for cake fillings and bread pudding because of being a bit tart. But, really, Apricotine is on a much lower level than fruit names like Peach (or Peachy or Peaches) and Cherry, which are usually nicknames anyway.

A brick of what?
Totally a chemical from apricots. An addictive one.
I think it's not a good name for human beings. For characters, though - sure. Except, according to the submitted name entry, it's been done .. and I think it would seem kind of lame if it wasn't original.

It sounds like a chemical that would be derived from apricots, unfortunately.
All I can hear is "nicotine," unfortunately. :/
Ditto!

Apricots.
Enough said.
Enough said.
That's the point :)
Still much too close to the word for my liking. :)
Lovely
This is beautiful! It's a little out there, but I like it! I think it would be a good sibling name for Clementine, and would sound very good with French names.

Thank you!
