[Opinions] Latifah
The thread about Latoya inspired me to ask about Latifah.
I never thought about it much until I watched the Swedish thriller TV drama “Caliphate” on Netflix.
One of the main characters, Pervin (a name I also really like from the show, it has Turkish origins and is pronounced per-VEEN), has an infant daughter named Latifah.
Latifah is an Arabic name, and the feminine form of Latif. The name means “gentle, kind.” It’s pronounced la-TEE-fah.
I also think Tifa / Tifah on its own is pretty as well.
