My first thought is that someone picked a babyname while studying for SATs. Or, they wanted Sage or Wisdom, but those weren't smart enough for them.
...if that was actually the case, and they wanted something bold, I feel like Sophocles or Sophronia would be a cooler name to have.
Maybe this is nitpicking, but while I like some words as names, I don't love adjectives as names. I'm more into nouns and verbs as names.
Though Sagacity would sound worse, so whatever.
I wonder what the middle name is; if it's a noun, maybe I'd respect the FN more.
