[Opinions] Cymberly

I also read it as Simberly. I don’t like it as a weird, madeup spelling of Kimberly (which, admittedly, already isn’t a name I like).
Cymber sounds a lot like simper/semper to me.
It's very strange and not in a way I like.
Cymbra might be kind of cool, then it'd remind me of siembra and Kimbra, which I prefer to Kimberly.
I don't instinctually read it as a hard C, like most English speakers wouldn't.

I didn’t understand it was supposed to be Kimberly at first.
C always says /s/ when followed by e, i, or y. Otherwise c says /k/.
English spelling rules... so I initially read that as simberly.
Terrible.

I read that is SIM-bir-lee instead of KIM-bir-lee (likely because of Shakespeare's Cymbeline). Sorry, but that's pretty bad.
Painful
What an eyesore :(

Couldn't agree more.
I was pronouncing the C like an S.
That looks like something a twelve-year-old girl would do just to be different, even if there weren't any other Kimberlys in her class. She'd write it all over her notebooks and put little hearts and unicorn horns on the letters.
It sounds like the baby of a Welsh nationalist who was a fan of the Kardashians.
lol
I kind of like the look of it. Makes me think of Cymbeline.
