[Opinions] Mafalda
The creator of the Argentinian comic strip “Mafalda “ https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mafalda passed away today, which made me think of the name , which was also the name of an Italian princess who died in Buchenwald during World War II.
I think it’s an interesting name, though kind of ugly. But maybe someone here likes it?
Edited for clarity

I like the sound quite a lot. Much cooler than Matilda. I like the "al" sound, and "f" is a funny puffy sound in the middle of the name.
I just don't like the look of it! Too many as.

This was my grandmas name and she absolutely despised it! She went by the nickname Dolly her whole life (she was super tiny and doll-like as a baby) I'm due with a baby girl next month and we all joked that Gram would roll over in her grave if we used her namesake haha.
I do agree with Gram and her dislike of the name. Its very clunky and unappealing.

Mafalda is like a pug. Ugly in a charming way.
I'd never use it myself, unless it's for fiction

Sounds really cute, but I wouldn't use it.
