Manipura mentioned the name Noble in a post recently. What do you think about that name?Mother of Elisabeth Frida

It strikes me as being similar in style to Honor or Sage or Griffin. Or something old-fashioned like Leroy, Garnet, Grover.

Works better as a middle name.

It's in the Regent, Royalty, Gentry category for me :( I dislike it. It would be an embarrassing name to have.

It's a surname. As such, if it's a family name, it'd be fine as a mn. But as a fn, especially if there is no family or other honouring reason for using it, it is over-ambitious and, actually, unfair.

Terrible as a name
