[Opinions] Zealand
A few months back this family vlogging channel named their newborn boy, Zealand. It's been on my mind a lot recently, and they had previous kids named Everleigh, and Posie. Sadly, those kids are being exploited, but that's a conversation for another time.
Anyways, what do you guys think of the name Zealand? Do you like the sibset?
I personally would never use it. It's better than Steel though. Posie definitely won't age well, and Everleigh is whatever.

I don't like Zealand at all.
Posie would have been fine if it were a nickname for something that'd age better. It's worse than Poppy. Sounds like a doll brand aimed at very young children from the 1970s. Barbie, Sindy and Polly have more class than Posie.
Everleigh is... not my thing but its not the worst name. I'd prefer Everly, but that might be due to my bias against "-leigh". Leigh is a place known as a bit of a rough area around my part;

"If you walk or drive through pretty much all of Leigh you’ll seen an abundance of Scallies ******* around doing absolutely naff all and still finding the pennies for cigs cider and weed, and the vocabulary of a muppet."
(I do wish people wouldn't censor, I have no idea what any of those words in the rant are meant to be)
So it literally sounds... how do I put this... not "trashy" but more like it's covered in several decades worth of cigarette smoke and it's all yellowed and flaking and it smells like piss because the sloshed blokes couldn't be bothered to find a real toilet. It also wears 15 layers of fake tan, enough to qualify as a new Tweenie, and clears out an entire tube of mascara in one night.

Don't like it or any of the names
Yeah the exploitation thing is an issue and honestly? I hope they see these posts about them. Anyway, all of them are terrible names that won’t age well. One of my rules is that if you can tell when a kid is born based on their name, it’s not a good name. Those SCREAM 2016-2020
Somebody actually named their kid Steel? Oh wow.
Anyways, I'm not a fan of Everleigh, I'm definitely not a fan of Posie, but Zealand is actually okay. I would never use it though. I like other country/continent/city names. (Ex: Austin, Asia, Brooklyn, Paris, London, Milan, Charlotte, Adelaide, Sydney, etc.)
