I don't hate it. I think it has a nice sound and I can understand why it appeals to people although I think Lyn names are a bit dated. Another issue is how you would spell it. I think I'd spell it Kaylin but then there's Kaylyn, Kaylynn, Kaelyn, Kailyn etc. Could get confusing!
