[Opinions] Re: Geraldine, Carolyn, Patricia

Putting aside datedness, Patricia is elegant sounding. The nicknames are not. I dislike Trish, Trisha, Pat, and Patty. In and of itself, Patricia is 8/10. The nicknames vary from 2/10 to 3/10.
Carolyn is okay. Caroline is more classic and ageless. I’ve known more Carolyns than Patricias or Geraldines, so it is harder to consider objectively. 6.5/10
Geraldine is clunky and awkward and not in an endearing way like Josephine. It sounds stuffy and precocious at the same time. It isn’t terrible or haggish like Agatha or as strictly old lady like Ethel, so 5/10.
If I had to pick one, then Carolyn with the nickname Caro.
Carolyn Andraste or Carolyn Alexandra
