If you like Rumi, maybe consider the Bulgarian Rumyana (with the nickname Rumi)?

Agreed. I would also argue that it's culturally insensitive to use Rumi. Just because it's cool to share badly translated Rumi poems on Instagram doesn't mean you can use it on a child.

Bronte
I must confess that I am oblivious of the poet, I’ll look him up.
That said I don’t see how using the name or nickname Rumi is disrespectful. Would it be considered disrespectful as well to use name your daughter Bronte?
I’m not trying to argue, but I’m curious.
According to the submitted information I’ve found Rumi is a Japanese name: https://www.behindthename.com/name/rumi/submitted

Using it as a Japanese name, if you're Japanese, is fine.
Bronte is ugly sounding but it's not cultural appropriation.
