[Opinions] Septimus
What does everyone think of this ancient numerical name? I've been thinking about it a lot lately. I find it dashing and not a little rakish, which I love. Plus, Sepp is an attractive nickname.

I appreciate the history of the name, I just don't like the sound of it.
I really like Septimus. It has a magical scholarly vibe. The meaning seven seems a bit random but could be meaningful to someone. I also like Octavian but am slightly put off by the number meaning.
Duplicate post. Sorry

I like it but I’m not sure it’s usable today. It sounds too much like sepsis or septic. I might use it for a character in a book though because it’s very regal.
terrible
Care to elaborate?
What's the point in responding if you're simply going to say "terrible"? I don't get it.

Not a good sound. Blood poisoning or septic tanks, anyone? Maybe ok on a cartoon character, but never irl.
It sounds too medically dangerous to me, and disease-like. Not something I’d ever want to evoke in a human’s name (septic, sepsis, septicaemia, septic shock). This one’s a firm no.
