[Opinions] Celeste or Celestine?
Which one do you prefer and why? (I love the nickname "Cel" / "Celly" for these names!)

CelesteI really like Celeste. I prefer it as a middle name, but I love it as a first name as well. Celestine is just not my type.

I find them both to be ambitious and sentimental. I've only known one Celeste, who hated her name and insisted on being known only as Sally.

I like both! I love the spelling Celestyn too (which is technically masculine but eh I think it could work either way, especially in English)

I prefer Celestia, personally. I remember seeing this incest documentary and their kid was named "Celeste" and all I could think of was the potential bully nickname from it; "Incest Celeste" and to this day, this is all I think of when I see Celeste lmao I do like Celeste, it's just hard to hear it without tagging "Incest" to the beginningI like Celestine; Ernest et Celestine is an adorable children's movie that I highly recommend if you've got kids or you're a sucker for cute friendship movies like I am. It's a French movie, but it has an English dub if that bothers you. Celestine is the mouse and she is adorable. I hear Celestine in a French accent. So in order I prefer Celestia, Celestine and then Celeste I'm not a fan of the nicknames, though, sorry

I prefer Celeste. It's more simple and balanced. Celestine feels a bit too much.
