Help[Opinions] Rikissa / Richeza
I just came across the name Rikissa which is an old Swedish variant of German(ic) Richeza. A famous bearer of this name was Rikissa Valdemarsdotter, a Danish princess and Queen of Sweden in the 13th century (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richeza_of_Denmark); also, she may be my ancestress!
What do you think of Rikissa and Richeza? Do you think they could be used in modern times, or should they just stay in the Middle Ages?

Interesting names, though not really my style in terms of sound.
I don't see why they couldn't be used now. Rikissa could make a unique alternative to something like Rebecca or Melissa.
A few years ago, I saw a game show contestant, probably in her mid-to-late 20s, called Richeldis. I always thought that was an interesting name, and has a similar vibe to Rikissa/Richeza. Somehow it feels even more archaic.
