(Let me know if it's annoying to hijack posts like this, I just didn't think this was worth its own thread)
Conan does make me think of Conan the Barbarian but it sounds pretty usable to me otherwise, and I think I'd rather use Conan than Cannon.

I wouldn’t, but ultimately I’d say yes. I don’t hate it. I prefer Cannon.

I would also use Conan over Cannon.
