Message: "Mira?" - Behind the Name

This is completely typical of me... I've finally found the PERFECT name for my daughter (due in less than 4 weeks!) and I find a new favorite: Mira. My husband likes it, I love it. I wouldn't use it with Norah- Mira Norah or Norah Mira is too repetitive- the -ra -ra endings are too much. So WDYT of Arielle Mira? Should we reconsider Arielle Norah?

Mira is a lovely name. I agree that Norah Mira and Mira Norah are too repetitive. Arielle Mira, Mira Arielle, and Arielle Norah are all very pretty.

Arielle Norah flows better but I love Mira too! Mira Arielle sounds nice.

I absolutely LOVE Mira! Love it, love it, love it. Mira Norah / Norah Mira is lousy, though. Arielle Mira is lovely, even though I don't like Arielle.

What about Mira Arielle, Mira Eleanor (since Nora is a nickname for Eleanor), or Mira Eleanora / Eleonora?

I absolutely love the name Mira! : ) It's my #1 name and has been for quite some time.

Just to clarify, I pronounce Mira as either MEER-a or MIR-a, not as MY-ra. I'm assuming that you are as well.

Mira Norah is a bit sing-songey, but it is cute.

Arielle Mira is very pretty, but I prefer Mira much more over Arielle.

Arielle Norah is very nice, but not particularly my style.

Mira Arielle on the other hand is beautiful and gets my vote : )

I'm working on a bit of research on the name Mira, and if you would like, I would be happy to share what I've found.

I like Mira Arielle. I really like Mira as a fn. It's very cute & I think it would age well.

Her nickname, actually. I like it, quite a bit. I think Mira Arielle is really, really pretty. :-)

I love the name Mira! Very pretty! But I don't think it sounds good with the other names. How about Mira Jayne?

I love Mira, but Arielle Mira doesn't flow all that well to me (and Arielle Norah is pretty, but nms, sorry). I think Mira Arielle's much nicer.
