I like plain Shae, Shay or Shea better, but I would choose Shaelynn.

My preferred spelling was Shaelynn as well, as I noticed was the general consensus. That way she can always go by Shae ;)

I'm not too fond of either spelling, but if I had to choose one, I'd go with Shaelynn.

Shaelynn. It looks a lot nicer, and no one would bat an eye if she still used the nickname Shay (spelled like that).

Shaelynn. Shaylynn looks more confusing to me and the two Ys so close together look ugly to me. So Shaelynn is a lot better.

How about Shea or Shay instead? Maybe Lynne or Lynn as the first name? Shaelynn and Shaylynn look really made up.
