[Opinions] Juanita
I'm developing a bit of a crush on Juanita; it has such a kitschy charm to it that I quite like. It's flat but in a fun cartoony way. It's like a really bad-good spaghetti Western heroine. How would you combo this name?

My grandmother's name and she hated it. My great-grandfather chose it and loved how exotic it seemed but my grandmother always felt it was too fancy for a simple, country girl from Australia. She went by June for most of her life.I think it's sweet :)

I love that it's perky but also kind of dowdy (because of its datedness (in the U.S., at least)). I'd probably opt for something like Juanita Pearl, Juanita Eloise, Juanita Iris, or Juanita Lilac.

That dated dowdiness is exactly why I'm loving it!Juanita Iris is lovely. Juanita Lilac is fun and unexpected! Juanita does seem to pair well with the florals....

It's kind of a fun name in the way of Yolanda and Wanda.
It's pretty stereotypically a Hispanic name, but doesn't seem to have been used much on Hispanic girls for many generations. The only Juanita I ever knew was a friend of my grandmother; she was black and Indian.Juanita GraceJuanita RoseJuanita SierraJuanita Camille?

Juanita Rose is really sweet!

I don't know if I follow all of that. But it's fine. Not a name just everyone would wear well, though.
