I'd assume that they'd be short for Agnes or Agatha, and Ignatius.
But it could also be for Agape, Aglaia (oooh), Agrippina....
A male Aggie could be Agamemnon! Or Agnar, or Agni. A female Iggy....hmm, Igraine? That's quite cute.
