Amber sounds a bit dated to my generation, but it is a pretty name. I would use a more traditional middle name to balance the trendy sounding Amber. Amber Margaret
Amber Mary
Amber Rose
Amber Rebecca

I’ve always liked it tbh. I love the colour of the Amber stone and the whole way it is formed is fascinating. Some combos I like are: Amber Rose - very, very stereotypical I know, but I like the sound of it.
Amber Jane
Amber Elizabeth
Amber Phoebe
Amber Kate
Amber Louise
Amber Zoe
Amber Cleo
Amber Celeste
Amber Madeleine
Amber Mae

I think Amber is going to make a comeback as a middle name in a decade or two when it becomes a Grandma name. And I think it'll shine there. Amber ha such a warm sound but overuse has made it tacky and brittle to me, which is a shame.Maybe pairing it with something warm and old fashioned...?Amber Charlotte
Amber Eloise
Amber Lillian
Amber Marnie
Amber Sarah
Amber Florence
Amber Genevieve
Amber Ida
Amber Nell
Amber Caroline
Amber Amelia
Amber Estelle

It’s ok but feels very 70s/80s.

Amber is not my favorite name, but it's not a bad one. I've only ever known one Amber, and she was very intelligent and kind, so it has a positive association for me. It's not to my personal taste, but I don't dislike it. I think an "L" middle name would sound nice, like "Amber Louise."

Straight out of a paperback romance: Tossing her long, wavy, red hair, Amber stalked out of the room and out of Cuthbert's life for ever, or so she thought.IRL, it needs a squeeze of lemon:
Amber Joan
Amber Maureen
Amber Susan

It’s okay. Not bad. Ember, I think has a little more edge.

I knew a not-so-nice person named Amber once, and that pretty much ruined the name for me. It wasn’t all that bad before, but now it gives me horrible flashbacks.
