[Opinions] Airport
A man met his wife at the airport so when their son was born they named him Airport. WDYT?
Do you know any children who were named after where their parents met?

I hate these types of names. I know of an Evidence nn Evy. It's just dumb.
Hilariously stupid. Not a name.
Couldn't agree more.
What the actual......?
God help that poor child.

Don't most airports have "names"? Like Heathrow, O'Hare, Haneda, Pearson, Charles de Gaulle..... hell, even LAX. Why not give the kid THAT name?
If I know anyone who was named after where their parents met, I don't know about it.

I think it's ok, I mean, their love obviously means a lot to them if they're naming their kid Airport. It's cool how devoted they are. I like the nn Ari

That's like naming a child office, or hospital, or nightclub, or bar, or group therapy.
My cousin Dallas was born in Dallas, Texas, and his youngest sister Summer was conceived in the summertime. That's about all I can think of at the moment.
Airport as a name is atrocious. They could've at least named the kid after the city it was located in or something! (unless it was in Savannah or some other girl-name city - that also wouldn't work very well lol)

Laughable.
I’m sorry but when I saw the story I laughed. It’s a ridiculously terrible name.
I know a story where a couple met each other at the park and the husband walked up to the girl and gave her a Lily flower, and the child was born 5 years later, on they day they met, and they put her middle name as Lily. As because her grandmother’s middle name is Lily, and at their wedding, they had a bouquet of Lily flowers. It was a sweet sentiment. Airport is just questionable.

I know of someone whose parents had climbed a mountain in Tanzania before she was born, and gave her the mountain's name as her mn.
I think her fn was Megan, but I'm not sure; I never remembered the name of the mountain!

Are you sure this isn’t an urban legend? Maybe I’m looking at the wrong government and news sources, but I can’t find a record of it anywhere. There appears to be a set of parents who gave their daughter the middle name “Sky” when she was born at an airport. Do you have a link?
It was on the tv and the child was about 8. It was filmed in Thailand amongst other places as it was about luxury destinations as in £10,000 + for a couple for a week.

That is really, really dumb. Like something you'd see in a very offensive cartoon about a primitive tribe somewhere.
