[Opinions] Re: Briar or Blair

Hi !!!
I like both but I prefer Briar.
Briar 8/10 I like it for both boys and girls. For girls is fairy-tale-themed while for boys is gentle and nature-themed with a similar sound to Brian.
Blair 8/10 it is ok for any gender. It is short and doesn't need any nickname. It is quite sharp and rough is any case.

Blair
Of the two, definitely Blair. I dislike Briar on every level. This word is historically used in an insulting way in my area. It's basically an ethnic slur against Appalachians who relocated to the area decades ago. Calling someone a "Briar Hopper", or just Briar for short, is another term for hillbilly, redneck... It would never do around here.
Aaand I just noticed I posted that as a reply to Felie. Sorry about that...
