[Opinions] Emerentia
Thoughts? What nn do you like?

I think it's beautiful, it shines like a dark jewel, and makes me think of ancient Byzantium.
Finding out that an "Emmie" or "Em" is actually an Emerentia would be really fun.

Here in South Africa, I've only seen it with a double m: Emmerentia. There is a suburb in Johannesburg called Emmerentia, with a dam where people go rowing.
I find it rather a mouthful for everyday use: I prefer four-syllable names to have the main stress on the second syllable, like Victoria or Felicity.
That said, I know a woman named Rentia (pronounced Rensha), which I like very much. She is Rentia Elizabeth.

Don't really like it
My first thought was that it reminds me of Ermentine, which I think I recall a lot of BtNers not liking haha. I think it's interesting, especially great for a fictional universe. Irl it's probably going to get middle name status, especially in the US.
I love it! It's stuffy and dignified.
Merry would be cute, as would something offbeat like Emu.

Yeah I love how it sounds so dignified and elegant! I like Ren as an nn.
Sounds like a name an old British queen would have.
