[Opinions] Re: Maria
Maria is way overused in my experience, across generations. Everyone knows more than one Maria. Even though, on its face, I can see the appeal of the name and find it pretty, for me it's just tired at this point.Jennifer is another name I think of in this way. It is a pretty name, but holy crap it seems like every other parent of a daughter in the 70s and 80s thought it was perfect! (Also common in the 90s.) I'm trying to think of whether I know more Marias or Jennifers and it's actually a close call. So... I have basically no doubt that there are a lot of real-life women named Maria Jennifer - and this is the kind of thing that can cause problems, especially if the surname is common, as well.***Please rate my personal name lists:www.behindthename.com/pnl/69381
