But his name was Cergey. We dated for about a year and it didn't work out, but I always thought that was a really cool coincidence.)

I literally just made a post about the Top 50 names in Russia (because I'd never seen the list on BtN before, didn't even know they collected the data); and now I see another post about Russian names! I fell in love with Arkady (and Arcadius) this fall. It's so satisfying to say! I like Aleksandr, especially with the NN Sasha or Sashka. I also love Ilya. My ancestry is Bulgarian, so I would actually consider using those names in real life as they are used in Bulgaria also.

Oh, I love that association!My favourites are Anastasia, Anushka, Ekaterina / Yekaterina, Elizaveta, Avdotya, Aleksei & Nikolai. Fedora is one of those names that I sometimes adore and sometimes find very strange.
