Not quite as silly as Blue, but not far enough removed from it. I'd expect it to be something that people used to add to their rinsing water so that their sheets and towels would come out brightly white and never dingy! Back in the day when such items were always white and never coloured ...

A friend of mine, we've been buddies since our first year at school, was named Suzanne Louette but has always been called Louette. It is a merger of her grandmothers' names: Louise and Henriette. I like it, but only because of her.
