[Opinions] Copycat?
I saw a girl post the name “Zenna” here
It means ‘life of Zeus’ and is Greek. I fell in love with this name instantly , and I feel like it’s modern and elegant and reminds me of a runway model and a fairy at the same time. I don’t like copying others though and it is very unique.. due any day now.. what are your opinions?

Since you really like Zenna, then go for it. Thousands of names are mentioned on here and a lot of people are just discussing names in a theoretical way with no plans of using them, so you won't really be copying anyone.
Go for it!
Zenna is super beautiful and lovely. This is a name site, so the whole point is to find inspiration! You are not really copying someone else; you are just naming your daughter. I think it would be a wonderful name for your daughter. It is certainly unique, but also easy to read and pronounce. I really think you should go for it.

It's cool. Go with it. Good luck.
I don't think you'd be copying anyone if you used Zenna, and even if you did, who cares?
I think Zenna is pretty. If you love it you should go for it.

I kinda like the name. It's sort of like a fem form of Zeno, with the extra N added to get a correct pronunciation by English speakers.
Doesn't make me think of runway models or fairies. It seems more trendy, but in a good way, like Zinnia and Sienna and Zara.

The extra N is actually throwing me off. Is it meant to be pronounced with a short E sound? As opposed to Zena, which I'd pronounce with a long E. I am English speaking, so maybe I've been getting that name wrong all this time? I do know a Zena who pronounces her name as I do.

Well, btn says Zeno is pronounced with a short e ... at least in Italian, which is something I didn't notice when I looked it up ...
I say it with a long e but I wouldn't know if that is "correct" or what. It seems more likely to me that the short e is "original" but I dunno.
The entry for Zena (which I also say with a long e) says it's not a fem form of Zeno at all. I think the long e pronunciation is "correct" in English? But the double N in Zenna forces me to say a short e in English.
To me, that makes it seem more like a form of Zeno (which can be pronounced with short e), and it fits with the poster's idea that it refers to Zeus.

Yes, that makes sense.
Zenna is beautiful, go for it if you like it! :)
No, you should totally go for it! It's not copying if you simply saw it online and fell in love with it.
I don’t really think it’s a big deal honestly. Go for it.
I think there is a massive difference between seeing a name online and digging it than like using the name a close friend or family member chose/wanted. You're fine, I'd go for it.
Ditto Maggie
Pretty name!
Pretty name!
