[Opinions] Paxton
This originally is a surname, and traditionally a male name. I named a female character this in my stories. I like it but it is not my style and I can't see myself naming my own children this. I love the meaning "peace town." WDYT of Paxton?

I don't like it at all. I prefer Pax (f).

I don't consider the meaning "peace town" personally, but that'd be a pretty nice meaning, and I see how it's intuitive. My cousin named a son Paxton a few years ago.I think it's in the same group as: Peyton, Knox, Paisley, Parker, Maddox, Preston, Spencer, Cooper, Harper, Maverick, Tatum, Jaxon, Paige, Dawson, Colton.
...none of which I like...they seem empty to me, as a group...I have a hard time seeing the appeal of it (the closest I can get is saying that l halfway like Paz), but it does sound nicer than most similar names do to me.

I don't like it, it's not my style and I dislike the "Pac/Pax" sound, but the ending is okay. I can't think of this on an adult as well. As for giving it to a girl, I think it would be trendy (not bad nor good, in my opinion) and I actually like it more on a girl. x - Ada

I guess it's alright, but Payton is so much better in my opinion.

Nice. I like the X in the name for some reason. Can only see it on a boy though.

It's really cool. I'm starting to like it a bunch. I've known a few guys named Paxton but I bet it can be feminine too.

It's not my usual style at all. But I like this name. Probably because of the meaning. I don't think I'd use it for a girl. Possibly just Pax, but not Paxton. I'd likely end up calling a boy Pax, as well
