[Opinions] Christophe
WDYT of Christophe? What would you pair it with (FN, MN, double FN)?How does it compare to other Chris names (unless you don't like any Chris names)?

I knew someone named Kristof in highschool and thought it was always so interesting!

It's alright but I prefer the German variant of 'Christoph'

I hate Christopher but I love Christophe. And Kristof. Christophe is so highfalutin and imperious! I adore that. I don't know if it needs a double first name, but it would be a good element for one I suppose.Jean-Christophe would be soooo handsome.I'd want to combo Christophe with the fancy French names from my family tree:Christophe Jean-Baptiste
Christophe Jules Pierre
Christophe Arnaud Stanislas
Christophe Fernande Gustave
Christophe Alexandre EtienneDangit I left my genealogy stuff at home, I have so many great French names in my tree, I just can't remember them offhand.

Unless it's a strictly German or French combination, Christophe feels like you forgot the R.However, it works best as A FNChristophe Enrich
Christophe Rodolphus

Christophe sounds very German to my ears;
it's ok name, even though it lacks its usual -er ending)
But I still prefer Christian, which seems 'sleeker', rather stronger.

I like it pronounced the way it says it’s pronounced on BtN [KREES-TAWF) but I don’t like it pronounced crist-off which I hear a lot. It also reminds me of the Christof from The Truman show, who’s name was a play on “Christ of...” which kind of turns me off from it, even though they’re spelled differently.I do prefer Christopher and Cristian, but I do like Christophe given it’s pronounced KREES-TAWF.
