In an English speaking context, it's hard to tell how to pronounce it. You'd get Lair. You'd get Larry. You'd get Layer. You'd get Leer. So while I think it looks and sounds pleasing, I wouldn't recommend it if used in this context, and I couldn't really speak to a different one.While I'm never a fan of spelling changes, especially to this extent, spelling word names differently is worst of all. It doesn't look at all creative, just like you can't spell. Tragic.
