[Opinions] Re: Adriane
in reply to a message by Orla.
I misread this as Ariadne, initially. This might not be a problem among people who aren't Greek Mythology enthusiasts, but I also doubt I'd be the only one misreading Adriane. I also think Adrianne is a more attractive spelling (though Adrienne is my favorite of all the variants).Adriane Elisa
Adriane Olive
Adriane Camellia
Adriane Delilah
Adriane Dorina
Adriane Dorinel
Adriane Doretta
Adriane Selina
Adriane LucinaI think Adriane pairs best with middles where the emphasis is on the second syllable.***Please rate my personal name lists:www.behindthename.com/pnl/69381

Oh, same! I made my initial post based on my misinterpretation. I think I'd misread it irl too. I like plain Adrian for a girl. Not as confusing.

I absolutely did this too. Every time I look at it, I see Ariadne. I think I'd prefer Adrianne or Adrienne for that reason too.
