I've liked it ever since performing in a school production of Tartuffe. I shouldn't like it because I dislike Ellie names but Elmira is pretty.

I love Elmira (and Elmyra, and Almira). It's princess-like but also has some vintage heft to it, and it's very unusual these days. I think it's really lovely.

I don’t like it. The El- beginning gives it gothic and ancient vibes to me (probably because I think of Elvira). I do like Mira and Miri however.
