I like Alistair a lot, but it would be turned into "Alister" where I'm from. Which is ok too, I like Alister. And Alastor. Edmund Alistair is really handsome. Isaac Alistair leaves me a little cold, it's got so many vowels it's like a empty house with the wind whistling through it. Dean Alistair sounds insufferable, but that's mostly Dean's fault. I think Alastair needs something warm and grounded with it, which is why Edmund is so successful. Other ideas:Leo Alastair
Owen Alastair
Damian Alastair (although this sounds downright evil I'll admit)
Edwin Alastair
Jack Alastair
Emmett Alastair
Jude Alistair

Thanks very much for the suggestions!I love the sound of Damian Alistair (Even if it does sound evil and I agree that it does, perhaps because of Damian lol and Edwin Alistair)

It's okay but I prefer Alastair. Dean and Isaac don't work with Alistair. Edmund might work but it's still a little humdrum. Edward might work better (even though I don't usually prefer it). Alistair Tybalt
Alistair Byron
Alistair Gaspard
Alistair William
Alistair Merlin
Alistair Morcant
Alistair Oberon
Alistair Octavian
Alistair Valerio
Willem Alistair
Tristan Alistair
Lucius Alistair

I prefer Alistair to Alastair, but I gave my son Alastair as his second mn for honouring reasons.Peter David Alistair would have worked well.Alistair James Fraser is pleasingly Scottish!Looking at your three suggestions, I don't like any of the fns as much as I like Alistair. Edmond would please me more than Edmund.

Guilty pleasure of mine. Just for the flow of it I prefer Alistair Dean, but they're nice together. Edmund Alistair comes off as a stuffy combo to me, a bit precious. Isaac Alistair is okay, but somewhat repetitive somehow.

I love Alastair it's one of my favorite boy names of all time and a long time spot holder as a possible future son name. I'm a little bit more conservative in my middle name ideas and have toyed with the idea of Alastair John before, perhaps not very bold but to me it balances out nicely. You'd be welcome to use it if you'd like. Of your ideas I think I like Isaac Alistair best but think that and Edmund Alistair would sound better flipped around.

Alistair/Alastair John does sound nice but I wouldn't consider using John for a number of reasons (some of which are personal) still a nice name though.

I would suggest looking at an online list of 1 syllable boy names and/or list of boy middle names, that is where I get all my best combination ideas :)

Thank you, I'll keep it in mind. (:

I’ve never heard that pronunciation. I prefer Alastair pronounced AL-uh-ster. Edmund Alistair is ok.

Not a fan at all, with any pronunciation. Out of your combos I like Dean Alastair the most, followed by Isaac then, much lastly, Edmund (bc one name is bad enough, but together they seem unbelievably snobby)
