Message: "Avelina" - Behind the Name

What do you all think about the name Avelina?
I like it because it's similar to a person I'm close too names, but is still different. So I guess I'm kinda asking would you name your kid this?

Gorgeous name! I do prefer Aveline. Sad part is that it is too close to javelina which is an ugly pig, and I saw people bring up this association.

I wouldn't use it, but my reason is probably not something most people relate to: it makes me think of javelina (a Spanish word, so, starts with H sound), which is a pig-like animal. I think it sounds nice otherwise. But maybe is too similar to too many other names that are popular right now, so it doesn't seem very distinctive to me.

I like it but I wouldn't use it. Lina is nice. Apparently it doesn't come from "aves" like birds, but I still think it looks bird-related and I like that.
Avelina is better than Avalina because it looks like one complete name while Avalina looks like a mashup of Ava and Lina.

It's okay. I think it's good that it's similar to other common names but different, yet not too "out there". And it has a couple of nice nickname options. I'd use it if it were my style.

I definitely prefer this to the popular Adeline/Adelina though because it is the lesser-known of the two I find it inevitable that a child named Avelina would have issues with being called adeline all the time or at least occasionally. Similar to how girls named Cleo are often called Chloe. *at least the one I know
