Ok so I looked up the lyrics and they ARE creepy, which gives Alouette more points in my book. A fluffy petticoat of a name that is from a children's song about murdering birds? Amazing. That's what sold me on Rosie and Posie too, the sweet-creepy dichotomy. Plus "Alou" as a nickname seems really chic.
I guess Alouette is the French Alondra!

I think it's really pretty, it sounds very formal.
Don't like
I think of the kids' song, the lyrics of which are a bit creepy.
But it's really just like Lark or Skylark. Except frillier and with more NN potential.

Christ, those are creepy lyrics. (Can't say I haven't treated a slaughtered hen the same way though.)
It's a jaunty tune sung by someone very happy to have a meal.
I just don't love it as a name, because my *only* association with the word is *the meal* in a well known song.
Maybe if I actually spoke French it'd be a nonissue. And I'm sure lots of English speakers don't know the song and wouldn't even think of it as a word name.

Reminds me of PJ Mask.
I like the sound of it.

It's not bad, but it isn't great either.
