[Opinions] Re: Soline

Are you getting that meaning by using Sol + the diminutive suffix -ine? What language does "souline" come from (I saw your entry on the comments for the name)?

In Latin, 'sunlight' would be 'lux solis'. Or 'solis lux', the word order didn't matter, but neither of those could have been used as personal names. Did you find this 'etymology' somewhere? Please let us know, if you did, so that we can check it out and if necessary take action and/or simply avoid it. And if you made it up, maybe in future make it clear that your suggestions are just that.
Not sure why I would make up the meaning of a name, but okay.
Anyhow, Soline is related to Solana. It does not mean “sunshine” or “sunlight”, but “sol” literally meaning “sun”. Obviously -line is a suffix so it has no meaning relevant to sunlight. Every source I check says it means “sunlight” or some relation to the sun.
