[Opinions] Elsinore
WDYT? I found it on a baby names website and named a character this. I love it so much, but I don't like the snore part of it. I love the nickname Elsie and Nora. It would be better off as a middle name though.Elsinore VioletElsinore WillowElsinore LilyElsinore Paige

I look at it and feel that I SHOULD love it. It has a lot going for it, soundwise, that I usually love. But I would feel SUPER weird about it if I met someone called Elsinore because all I can think of is “but that’s just the Shakespeare version of Helsingør”. And that really doesn’t makes sense to use as a person name. My Danish brain is utterly confused ;) I’d probably just go with Ellinor.

I love it. It's got Lenore's wry quirkiness and Elsie's cheer.

Cool, sounds medieval. I like Elsinore Page.

It reminds me of the beautiful name Eleanor, but it's much more whimsical and obviously not as common. I like it, especially with Elsie, a very sweet sounding nickname.

I'm open to the idea of Squish name sometimes but this isn't one of the ideas I like. Though Elsie and Nora are cute separately,

I find it gorgeous and rather romantic sounding.

It's cute but I don't like it enough to use it. I once thought I had kind of made it up by combining Elsa and Eleanor hahaha but I spelled it Elsinor.Elsinore Violet is pretty.I don't even notice the "snore" part. I mean it's ELL-seh-nor, isn't it? No snore or me.

Elsinore just reminds me of Hamlet. I have been there and the castle is impressive! It's just a place name to me, sorry.Simone Elsinore
