[Opinions] Re: Italian word name: Miele
in reply to a message by Felie
Hello Felie,I really like the meaning because I love honey and bees and nature! But the sound is not really my style. I think I prefer Miela. Miela is actually really nice!Honey has a nice sound but I wouldn't use it. You can use it every day as a nickname so there is no need to put it on the birth certificate. It is fine as a middle name.No the word for honey is Honig in German and miel in French. Honig would be really odd as a name. Miel sounds nice (kind of similar to popular name Mael, too lazy to do the trema right now) but I never heard it used.Rosa is okay but I much prefer Rose or Rosalind. Ambra is okay but it had the "bra"-part and I think I prefer Amber or Kohaku (it means "amber" in Japanese). I would like Viola as VY-o-la but I dislike vy-O-la or vee-O-la and it makes me think of "violence" a bit. Giada is nice but I prefer Jade. I dislike Regina, it's dated. Gina is better. Luna is nice but so trendy and overused now that I wouldn't use it anymore. Please rate my list: https://www.behindthename.com/pnl/6232
