I think Patricia “Patty” is due for a revival. Well, really I just like Patty, but I don’t think many would use the nickname without the full name as the official “formal,” if you ever happen to meet the President etc., name.
Like, imagine meeting tiny sisters named Patty and Susan nowadays. How cute.
