I adore Ambrose on a boy, 10/10. I had a dream once that I had a son named Ambrose and fell in love with the name. In the dream, he was Ambrose Xavier Winter, so that's my go-to Ambrose combo.

I see it as very masculine-handsome but I guess I can kind of see why some would think it could work on a girl, it's sort of like Amber+Rose. Actually "Amber" would be a cute nickname for it, even on a boy I think.
