[Opinions] Desideria
Desideria is a recent GP of mine. Nickname "Desi". What do you think?

I'd rather get Desi from Desiree; that is already a frilly name, and Desideria is even frillier.

Don't really like it

It's pretty cool. I wouldn't count on "Desi" because it wouldn't fit just anyone, and can come off twee imo. Could be Dera or Deri too.The only not-great association I have is with that wet, heavy poem "Desiderata." But once I remember that it's not actually the same name, it's fine.

I love this name, it's the name of an obscure medieval queen, I think? Oh, no, that's Desiderata. There was a Swedish queen Desideria though! Wordsmith is right, it is very dramatic! I rather like that it can be shortened to the kind of down-market "Desi" though - I enjoy a name that is highly formal with a more approachable short form. I don't know how else I'd shorten it - Des, maybe? Sid? No. Dessie? Oh, that's cute.

I love it. It's SO dramatic. I don't care for Desi, though.
