I'm expecting a boy. We've chosen the name Judah Rayner, nn Jude.
You say: I like the nickname Jude.
You think: Judah Rayner? No flow.
You suggest: I think Jude Rayner flows better.
I'm expecting a girl. I think we're going to name her Delaney Corisande, nn Dela.
You say: Corisande is beautiful!
You think: Delany... again?
You suggest: Della Corisande sounds more grown-up.
I'm having a boy. We're really religious, and have no compunction about making our beliefs public, so we're naming our son Amos Obadiah.
You say: Wow! That name makes a statement!
You think: Yick. Yick, yick, yick.
You suggest: How about Anani Gera?
I'm having a girl, and I love frilly, girly names. We're thinking of using Felicity Annis.
You say: That certanly is girly!
You think: Um... No. It's not.
You suggest: Felicia Amabel is even girlier!
I don't know whether it's a boy or girl, so I'm going with something unisex. The baby's name, regardless of sex, will be Avery Belrose. Belrose is an old family surname.
You say: That's great!
You think: It's great if it's a boy!
You suggest: How about Annis Belrose for a gril?
I'm expecting twin girls. I'm so excited, b/c I love theme-y names. They're going to be Lily Ruth and Iris Mae.
You say: Don't do that to your children
You think: Really, don't!
You suggest: Ruthia Lily and Mable Iris are names that they can live with.
I'm expecting twin boys. I love alliterated names for twins, so my boys are going to be Ezra Kyle and Eben Keith.
You say: How will you keep them straight?
You think: Truely, how will you?
You suggest: Kenneth Ezra and Eben Keith
I'm adopting b/g twins. Since twin names always sound the same, I'm naming the girl Calla Eden and the boy Calvin Pierce.
You say: Nice names!
You think: Calvin and hobbes?
You suggest: Calla Eden and Pierce Calvin

New names to me.
Anani is one I'm not familiar with; I quite like it! Gera, I'm afraid, is nms, but it sounds very nice with Anani. Ruthia is also a new one; did you make it up, or have you run across it before? I've never really cared for Ruth b/c I thought it needed more spice; Ruthia is great, imo! Thanks for the suggestions, and thanks for playing. :o)
