I know a Bithia (it was derived from Terabithia, not from the Biblical name) and she goes by Bith or Biff sometimes which is funny as she is a tiny, slender blonde girl.

That's hilarious! A few South African cricket captains ago, there was Graeme Smith who was/is huge and a very big hitter and was known as Biff (as a riff on Smiff ... )
