I like it, because it's like a weirder Gladys, and I love Gladys. It does sound like something from The Handmaid's Tale.

Unremarkable in South Africa; I've also seen Wellness. But no doubt very odd elsewhere!

They say it's the thought that counts, but sometimes that thought doesn't seem to be too smart. Gladness is one of those thoughts. Nice idea, but in the execution of it? No thanks. It just ends up sounding forced, and also like a slightly garbled and stuffy-nosed Gladys.
